Champittet, a “Green” campus

As we strive to promote more than academic knowledge, Collège Champittet has the ambition to educate students to be aware of the balance between themselves and the world around them.

Situated in a wooded environment of more than 40 000 square meters at the edge of the Lake Geneva, Collège Champittet is a forward-looking academic institution. Our school is transforming the campus and facilities to improve and ensure the high quality of education in our commitment as « a school for life ».

Collège is dedicated to making students aware of existing technologies which are respectful of the environment such as the production of hot water, using solar panels on the roof top of one of the buildings. Displays explain the functionality and installation of these with regard to the local environment and globally as well.

Students are encouraged to be involved in projects benefitting the community and the environment, notably with regards to humanitarian projects and associations protecting wildlife and nature.

Collège Champittet is proud to have on staff Mr Michaël Scholl , a world renowned shark specialist who has studied white sharks for over 10 years in South Africa.
