Charitable activities – Fasting for a purpose

Each year Collège Champittet proposes to participate in a show of solidarity by fasting in favor of a charitable project. This year, the project was in favor of a school in Columbia, the “Simon Bolivar school”.

Founded in 1967, it welcomes today students up until the last year before the Columbian Baccalaureate degree.

Our students undertake a variety of actions to raise funds here at Champittet.

What are the needs of Simon Bolivar school?

• The construction of 2 new classrooms in order to welcome all the students
• The establishment of a physics and chemistry laboratory in view of the opening of the last year of the Baccalaureate degree in 2010.
• The creation of a playground for the youngest students as per the safety norms required (slide, swings and sand box)
• The installation of a sound and video classroom
